About Janet
I've been teaching maths one-to-one for over 15 years, working with secondary school students from Year 7 through to A-Level. My degree is a BSc in Mathematics, and I am a full-time maths tutor.
Students often tell me that I make maths easier to understand. Lessons are calm and focused, with a strong emphasis on exam preparation, exam technique and building confidence to tackle exam questions.
What I teach
KS3
Years 7 to 9 maths support across number, algebra, geometry, ratio and statistics. The aim is to make the basics steady before GCSE starts to press.

Pure, mechanics and statistics for AQA, Edexcel and OCR. Early sessions usually find the gaps, then the work gets more direct.
